Fall Hebrew Class Promotional Essay

HEBREW—The language of the Bible—the Oracle by which God has spoken to mankind through the inspired utterance of the preserved scriptures of the traditions handed down through Moses, the Writings, the Prophets, the Apostles, and incarnationally-and-subsumistically through the Master—our Lord Jesus the Christ—Yeshua ha’Mashiach Adoneynu.

HEBREW—language consisting of three-letter roots primarily, each letter itself a pictograph that represents a vocalizational utterance that signifies and therefore causes cognition in the receiving mind of things that the Divinity has denoted arch-typically to the spirit and soul of his sentient creation.

HEBREW—The Voice (I believe) by which* GOD created all things and the anchor of revelation of Himself to all beings and to all creations.

[* “by which”: this I believe, despite all etymological histories that would place it late in the unfolding of human language, since GOD is not constrained by time or process.]

HEBREW—The Language that has no border, being unfettered by overmuch specificity yet discernible to time-bound man and is made manifest through the reflection in its unified nature of the One Who gave it.
