The purpose of this course is to help students understand the history of the Jewish people from the call of Abraham, through the First Testament, between the Testaments, the New Testament, the Roman era, and Christian-Jewish history from Constantine through the Holocaust. ABOUT FIRST CENTURY GENESIS
First Century Genesis was created to bring the time of Jesus to light. Our hope is to illuminate the ancient traditions and culture of the land and people of Israel, their Hebrew language and colorful idioms, and the actual words of Yeshua to a clearer understanding of the faith. The church has gone through many changes from the first century falling into the dark ages, and restructuring through the reformation by creating lines of division. We feel that God is calling believers to return back to the original genesis of the first century, the faith of Yeshua, a time when there were no denominational lines.
